Welcome to USLocal (uslocal123.com, "the Platform"). By using the Platform you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. What the Platform is
- The Platform is an information and matching tool: employers can post jobs and other listings; job seekers can browse, chat with the AI, and choose to be recommended to an employer.
- The Platform is not an employment agency or staffing agency. We are not part of any employment relationship, we don't guarantee that anyone gets hired or finds staff, and we never charge job seekers a placement fee.
- The AI on the Platform (the "AI Job Matchmaker") only asks questions, organizes information, gives suggestions and makes recommendations. The AI can be wrong. Whether to hire, or whether to take a job, is up to the employer and the job seeker, who are responsible for their own decisions.
- Job posts and conversations are translated into other languages by AI so people who speak different languages can communicate. Machine translation can contain mistakes. Please confirm important details (pay, hours, housing, etc.) with each other directly.
2. Accounts
- You can log in with a code sent to your phone or email. Your account is created automatically the first time you verify.
- You must use a phone number or email that belongs to you, and you are responsible for activity on your account.
- The Platform is for users 16 and older.
3. Rules for posting
When you post a job or other listing, you promise that:
- The information is true and you have the right to post it; the job really exists, and the pay, conditions and location match reality.
- You will not charge job seekers any deposit, agency fee, training fee, uniform fee or other fee, under any name.
- You follow federal, New York State and local employment laws, including minimum wage, hours, tax and anti-discrimination rules. You are responsible for making sure your post is legal.
- You will not post illegal, sexual, gambling, false or fraudulent content, content that violates others' rights, or impersonate anyone.
We may remove posts that break these rules, are confirmed by a report, or are clearly risky, without notice, and may disable the related accounts.
4. Recommendations and contact info
- When a job seeker taps "Recommend me", the employer sees the AI's summary, the conversation and the job seeker's contact info. If the job seeker doesn't tap it, the employer sees nothing.
- Employers may use that contact info only to communicate about that job — not to sell, mass-message or use it for anything else.
5. Using the AI
- Please don't share sensitive information unrelated to the job in the chat (such as your Social Security number, bank card number or ID numbers).
- To prevent abuse, we limit AI usage per visitor and site-wide.
- You may not use scripts, bots or similar tools to call the AI in bulk or scrape the Platform.
6. Paid services
The Platform is free for job seekers forever. If we later offer paid services to employers (such as featured posts, refreshes or memberships), we will clearly show the price and rules before you buy. We will never charge anyone per successful placement or per candidate.
7. Intellectual property
The Platform's software, design and trademarks belong to the Platform. Content you post belongs to you; you allow the Platform to display, store and process it (including having AI process and translate it) as needed to provide the service.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Platform is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that information is complete or accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
- Disputes between users about hiring, employment or pay are for the users to resolve; the Platform may help by providing relevant records.
- To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Platform is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the Platform.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date. You may stop using the Platform and ask us to delete your account at any time.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. These Terms are available in Chinese, English, Spanish and other languages; if the versions differ, the Chinese version controls.
